Worlds Ahead
More Info
A cinematic journey built around the idea of opportunity as a series of doors. Using a continuous forward movement, the film travels through entrepreneurs, technology, agriculture, giga-projects and emerging industries, each world opening naturally into the next. What begins with people pushing beyond the obvious gradually converges on Riyadh and Biban, where all those ambitions, ideas and possibilities meet. One week of prep for an unusually ambitious amount of material, with multiple worlds to create and a visual structure that depended almost entirely on transitions working precisely from shot to shot. Every frame had to connect to the next through doors, screens, objects, architecture or movement, making the whole film feel like one uninterrupted journey rather than a collection of separate scenes. A logistical puzzle, but exactly the kind I enjoy.
